Apple’s new commercial focuses on the Health app using an iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

Health App Works! Now What?

Apple cured the bugs plaguing its Health app and HealthKit and iOS apps are beginning to collaborate and share health and fitness data.

I had some time to mess around with the new Health app. It does a fantastic job collecting the health and fitness data from your iPhone’s health and fitness apps, and the simple charts on Health app’s dashboard are coming alive.

Bendgate! Apple’s iPhone 6 Plus Bending in User Pockets.

Apple just can’t catch a break…. or can it. The Wall Street Journal and other news sources are reporting nine complaints relating to Apple’s new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus bending in users pockets.

Apple’s most recent issue plaguing its new product launch has been dubbed #bendgate – and adds another issue to those already impacting the iPhone 6’s launch.

The number of iPhones that bent is infinitesimal (nine iPhones) compared with the number of iPhones in consumers pockets (millions of iPhones). I would not worry too much about becoming a victim of #bendgate. However, I would still be careful about sitting on your new iPhone 6 lest you become the latest victim.

Protect Your New iPhone 6 With a New Case

With your new iPhone 6 ordered it is time to prepare for its arrival with a new case that serves your needs.

There are thousands of iPhone cases on the market to choose from. They come in various styles/colors and are made of different materials that each promise varying degrees of protection to serve different needs. A case you would use for day-to-day activities may not be rugged enough for your intense weekend workouts or runs. While I prefer that my iPhone live in one case, I have learned that there is no one-size fits all solution when it comes to cases. You may not alway need a case that can be submerged under water (unless you have kids). You may have a desk job and not need the extra protection for drops and bumps during the work-week. You may like your iPhone attached to you. You need to consider these factors as well as the price, size, weight, durability, survivability and the amount of protection offered. With so many factors to consider and options to choose from you can get dizzy buying your new iPhone 6 case. To help you begin your journey here are a some new and veteran cases on the market. Apple provided some new details about Apple’s new Health app, which will be included in iOS 8. You can download iOS 8 and the new Health app on September 17, 2014.

The new Health app provides an easy-to-read dashboard for all of your health and fitness data.
